Genna Osborne

I’m Kind of a Spice Cabinet

I was born back in the late 1900s. From that day on, I didn’t wanna settle. I moved out when I was 17, went to art school, covered my body in tattoos, and never looked back.

I spent the first 5 years or so of my career working at agencies-paying my entry fee to freelance. I loved parts, I learned a lot, and then I jumped ship. I’ll never forget that first day on my own—I was like Kevin McCallister. Aaaaaahhhhh!

The truth is, I am driven to live on my own terms. The freedom to curate my days and weeks as I see t is what motivates me.

At work, I’m a project manager with a degree in graphic design, which means I have a preternatural talent for herding creative types—because I am one. To my teams, I am the force field and the catalyst. If I am doing my job, they are left alone to create.

At home I’m a chef, a housekeeper, a whiskey drinker, oh, and a mom to 3 people (2, 4 year olds and a 7 year old). My husband rules, our house is loud, and there’s pee on things. Heaven!

“What’s next?” is my default setting. Hit me up—I’ll be around.

I’ve known Genna for 10 years and worked with her during multiple times in my career—and she’s the best of the best when it comes to project managers. Genna isn’t fazed by even the largest jobs or craziest deliverables and manages to deliver on time and on budget.

6 Random Things About Me

I love knitting. Yeah, I channel my inner old lady every chance I get.

I grew up with board sports. They say you’re raised by your parents and then you’re raised by your friends. Well, I was raised by a bag of dicks that later became pro snowboarders. It’s in my DNA.

I am an Oregonian. Trees, leaves, dirt. I regularly wish it was raining and want to punch the sun #oregon.

I graduated high school early. Even back then I was antsy as shit, I never looked back.

My husband is my favorite human. We grew up around each other. He’s 6 years older than me and I’ve admired him since it was creepy. We fell in love when I was 21 and that was it. He welds shit, he skateboards, and he’s mine.

Favorite places. Crater Lake in the summer, Spain on a rainy day with a hot Americano, my backyard skate bowl once it’s done.

Can’t Fathom how to Dust off That old Project and Kick it in its Ass?
